As always, fucking awesome!

You've got the best metal on newgrounds dude, no doubt. This is some awesome shit! Skilled, dramatic and beautifully constructed. You need to be selling CDs if you are not sir, this is greatness!

Metaljonus responds:

Haha, thanks dude! I would'nt say the best since there is a ton of great musicians on this site. Thanks for the review and listening!

This is great work.

It's simplicity is great, I love the way it evolves as it goes. I'd love to hear it finished out.

WizMystery responds:

It's pretty much done now - posting this in case you're still interested in checking.

Waves?

This song has seen too much attention as far as I'm concerned. There are much more interesting pieces scattered all across the audio portal.

That being said, I'm not a fan of the proverbial "classical" music. I'm trained in it, but I hate it; it's corny. It's style was developed over four-hundred years ago, for the western-European culture of that time. I feel my piano, I feel my music, I feel nothing when I listen to this. I feel a lack of anything at all. Perhaps that's the point. If it is, I regret rating this a 9/10 and not giving it an official NG "vote" at all. It is a stifling of this artists ability, that much seems apparent to me, and that is the reason I refuse to rate it accordant to the 0-5 scale.

That being said, quit whoring yourself out. Write something that means something to you, and if you have, I will find it, and I will praise you for it. This, however, this...this is a job. I can tell. You get 9/10 and I will not attempt to affect your official rating,

SoS responds:

I wouldn't consider this classical at all. It's not. Other then the fact it uses organic sounds only it doesn't really sit with anything in that era. However it was the closest thing I could find in the genre list.

Where it lands on the charts is out of my control. The people voted and got it where it is and while I would agree that I didn't think it would get this much attention I am in no position to be telling people how they feel about it.

I'm thankful and grateful it got this far though.

I'm sorry to hear you felt nothing from the piece. We can never create the perfect song and can't aim to please everybody. Maybe next time :).

Take care.

I dig it

Awesome! Great recording, awesome personalities! Thanks for sharing :-D

chrisslight responds:

Thank you very much! Glad you liked it!

Trance?

Creepy, eerie, electronic, I dig it. I think it could use some tuning...so to speak, heh. Maybe just a more musicologic approach in it's construction, but its a neat concept. Especially dig the end, would've liked to hear more of that riff throughout the song. I don't think it's very trancy though...

Psychedelic-Mind responds:

I have since put it into the Miscellaneous category. Thank you for your review.

w00t

Sounds like judas preist high on quaaludes trying to rip off AC/DC and twisted sister at the same time.

mhb responds:

i know right!

Excellent recording!

Sound quality is unprecedented, but the aimlessness of it is what throws people off I think...very expressive of insomnia, rather artistic in a lot of ways. Definitely not something I expected to find on newgrounds.

Powerfull responds:

Thank you very much for listening and taking the time to write a review! I really hope that you enjoyed it! I try to bring a sense of originality to the music world. Sometimes it's not always accepted well, but you never know until you try, right?

Angry?

Sounds like an angry hip hop beat. Kinda good...but your killing my ear drums with the overloaded bass-lead. Keep at it, maybe try listening to your music in your car alongside the radio to contrast and compare...*shrug*

fx0606 responds:

thank's for you advice :) (sorry i'am french)

i gave you a one

For a couple reasons...the biggest being my own personal bias against 8 bit music...the second being, you didn't write the song. I'm not sure if you did it this way, but it's possible to take MIDI's that are already created, split them by track and re-master them using alternative instruments (i.e. your own 8bit VST) without ever having to do anything musically to them at all.

koek007 responds:

I created a MIDI which I used in the song. Not everybody is into 8 bith-ish shizzle I accept that. I will make new covers and I hope that you will like it. I will work on the new cover this week. Stay tuned for more songs made by me.

Very nice

This is a way cool use of the wobble dude. Totally not what I was expecting, but it never really breaks out or gets uber heavy...you create all this tension with your use of silence and keeping the bass kind of muted, but its like that ending would fade perfectly into a super badass, ultra heavy, super-sonic fast frkin murder-riff dude. Where's the murder-riff? If i'm only judging what you've given me, it's a frkin 10, but I want more! :-P

v150r responds:

thanks man, I think I was waited long enough for "forgot" the big picture - before i've finished it - and I feel I found some balance between the heaviest floor-smashing, wall-breaking and the clean, measured breaks and the other stuff.
also I know what you mean, and I will try it some way, but I just don't want to break the balance, and that's why I'm think it's finished. Time will tell dude. :P
And of course, thanks for the review! :)

edit 1: i've just seen you've checked the full version, so nevermind :) thanks bro!
